As technology has evolved to allow the real-time tracking and sharing of flight data – first with the FAA’s Aircraft Situational Display to Industry (ASDI) program and later with 自动从属监视广播(ADS-B) equipment – NBAA worked closely with the FAA to develop opt-out options to limit the distribution of aircraft data and flight information over the internet.
